AILAY4CARE: A Digital Ally for Clinical Decision-Making in Neuromuscular and Neurodegenerative Diseases
AILAY4CARE is an innovative project born from the synergistic collaboration between four leading companies in their respective sectors: NEMO LAB S.R.L., NET MEDICA ITALIA, DEEP REALITY S.R.L., and AIDAPT S.R.L. The initiative aims to develop an integrated platform to support the management and treatment of patients affected by neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases, usable both in hospital settings and remotely through telemedicine.
Project Objectives
AILAY4CARE aims to create an advanced digital platform capable of collecting, integrating, and analyzing data from heterogeneous sources. The system provides personalized clinical support, enabling continuous monitoring and effective patient management. The main goal is to improve the quality of healthcare, simplifying the work of professionals and enhancing the patient experience.
Work Packages
The project is structured into seven Work Packages (WP), each with specific tasks and objectives:
WP1 – Requirements and Specifications
Analysis of user needs and preparation of documentation for ethical approval.
WP2 – Development of the AILAY4CARE App
Design of an application for patient monitoring and telemonitoring, with a strong focus on usability, security, and data protection.
WP3 – Development of AILAY4CARE VR
Creation of a virtual reality system for rehabilitation, designed for integration into clinical environments.
WP4 – AILAY4CARE Cloud Infrastructure
Development of an advanced cloud infrastructure, featuring APIs and artificial intelligence algorithms for clinical data processing.
WP5 – User Interface (UI)
Design of an intuitive and functional clinical dashboard for efficient data management by healthcare professionals.
WP6 – Rapid Prototyping
Digital modeling and 3D printing of customized orthoses for fast and efficient prototyping.
WP7 – Clinical Trial
Validation of the solution through a clinical study, including results analysis and user experience evaluation.

AILAY4CARE represents a significant step forward in the integration of telemedicine into everyday healthcare. Thanks to the multidisciplinary contribution of the involved partners, the project aims to transform the approach to neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases by promoting practical, effective, and sustainable digital solutions.
